"Call of the Killer Whale," a two-hour documentary airing on PBS, begins by focusing on the story of the world's most famous killer whale, Keiko, the star of the film "Free Willy," who was famously set free after being rescued from a Mexican circus. Although PCBs were banned in the '70s, the chemicals, as well as other contaminants in the air and water, can remain in an orca's system for decades, which has resulted in calves born with birth defects. 　　The more challenging issue, and the one that even more tellingly shows the fragility of nature's interconnectedness, has to do with the fate of the salmon population. In the Pacific Northwest, for example, salmon have been the orca's main source of food. We all know that the salmon population is decreasing, but as Cousteau and other scientists contend, part of the reason the fish are decreasing is that man has created salmon farms which have actually hurt wild salmon because the cultivated fish hog all the food in shared waters.

Shimajiro, who helped an injured baby whale Kuu-chan, takes care of Kuu-chan who wants to return to her mother and keeps her in touch. In order to return Ku-chan, who was about to be sent to the aquarium, to her mother, Shimajiro rides on her back and sets out on a journey toward the southern sea.

Cristina and Simon are two young graffiti artists who paint the city that they live in. Their restless spirit leads them to defy a criminal gang when they decide to paint the mural of a whale over a threat written in a wall. The love that unites them, their friendship with other artists at La selva- an old house they use as a refuge- and familiar tensions, come together to tell a story where the powerful strength of youth faces fear, violence and the difficulties of growing up.

"Genius" accidentally invents "goo" which causes living things to rapidly grow to an enormous size. Seeing an opportunity to get rich, some delinquent teenagers steal the "goo" and, as a result of a sophomoric dare, consume it themselves and become thirty feet tall. They then take over control of the town by kidnapping the sheriff's daughter and dancing suggestively.

One of the elves, Milli, a brave elf girl, returns to the village to make a peace with the rolleys. The rolleys do not warm to Milli's peace proposal, but she becomes friends with a rolley called Rölli. It becomes their mission to solve the conflict between the elves and the rolleys.

Captain Puri a skillful sniper with a very firm heart found himself wavering for the first time after meeting his first love again. Dr. Napaschon was working as a volunteer doctor in a village near the border between Burma and Thailand when she along with her best friend got kidnapped by a Burmese rebel troop. His mission is to return Dr. Napaschon back to Thailand.Although his heart always pined for herbut her recent status has changed Dr. Napaschon is now his friend's girlfriend. Nothing is more torturous and hurtful than giving your whole heart away to someone who has no heart left to love you at all. The biggest obstacle for captain Puri is having to be in close proximity to her again. He has been through many missions before but this mission had him thinking hard. How can he restrain his heart? Between love and friendship, what will he choose?
